At Kimiko Legacy Ventures LLC, our mission is to provide community services that support mental health and well-being in various ways, all in honor of Kimiko, the founder's daughter who tragically passed away from Neuroblastoma Cancer at age 12.5 in 2019. When a need is brought to our attention, we assess it to determine if it can be addressed through existing or new programs, including volunteer opportunities.
We provide a range of community services, including mental health support and general health and wellness programs, with a particular focus on assisting hikers and backpackers, offering dignified employment and housing for individuals with disabilities, promoting suicide awareness and prevention, and providing legal assistance. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization, playing a crucial role in our community services initiatives. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those we serve, including providing vital mental health support. We are actively recruiting Trail Angels for the current PCT hiking season.
